Five! That’s how old Katja was when she decided to become an artist in her hometown of Riga. Following this early calling, she trained as a graphic designer in Berlin and Jerusalem. At flmh, Katja does a lot of branding, sometimes web design, and always everything with the necessary clarity. Since 2018, she has been illustrating the weekly taz column “Argumente”. If she ever runs out of ideas, Katja goes for an ice cream, which she can order, if necessary, in Latvian, German, English, Russian, Swedish, and even Hebrew. Most recently, she has been cycling her son through Berlin in a cargo bike – often to the zoo to observe her favorite animal, the elephant shrew.
