As a child, Julia’s dream job was to be a princess. Since that didn’t quite materialise, she fulfilled another childhood dream in Berlin and became an award-winning author. Interestingly, she never actually intended to move to the capital; an internship drew her here. Born in the beautiful Ruhr region, she moved to France immediately after graduating high school to study European Studies, Communication Sciences, and Journalism in Lille and Münster (and to eat plenty of ‘pain au chocolat’). Julia primarily writes about equality, pop culture, and politics – topics that are (almost) all an excellent fit for flmh. Consequently, she now works as an editor on the team and, as a project manager, also ensures that her passion for words is financially viable. Julia spends her free time with her nose in a book, strolling through Berlin, enjoying her record player, or attending her weekly Italian class. La dolce vita – that would be lovely.
