Jona created his first website at the tender age of 14 and decided early on that he wanted to do “something with digital media”. This was one of the reasons why he joined flmh after his time as a project manager at the United Nations, for which he traveled extensively in West Africa. He studied philosophy, economics and international development in Berlin, Austria and the UK and has worked in Ghana, Gambia and Switzerland. Jona is still secretly passionate about social movements, especially transnational labour struggles in global supply chains. The fact that he is now flmh’s project manager for digital issues and also manages projects for government organisations shows that he has a passion for social movements: The balancing act between revolution and authority somehow suits him.
