Global warming is progressing – with dramatic consequences. In order to limit it to 1.5 degrees, as agreed in the Paris Agreement, measures are needed to reduce CO2 emissions. The Mitigation Action Facility of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation) supports projects worldwide that promote decarbonisation in their sector – especially in the energy sector, industry and transport. It offers both technical and financial support. Projects can apply for this support as part of the annual Call for Projects.
New website: clear, concise, organised
The Mitigation Action Facility – then still the NAMA Facility – commissioned flmh to redesign the old website. The aim was to make projects, figures and success stories visible and provide an overview of current and past calls as well as the application process. With the “Knowledge & Learning Hub”, the platform also offers access to an extensive online library in which potential applicants can search the collected knowledge of the Mitigation Action Facility using various filter options.
Website relaunch & print design
flmh transferred the old website from the Typo3 content management system to WordPress – with a new design, content migration and SEO redirects. The structure and functions were expanded so that projects and knowledge products can now be found specifically via a search mask. In addition to the relaunch under a new label, flmh provides support with newsletters, advises on data protection, designs publications and print materials for online and offline use and writes social media posts.
