Information as support against right-wing extremism

Anyone who comes into contact with right-wing extremist attitudes and actors needs support – in the form of practical background information, action guides, and further material. This is precisely what the InfoPool on Right-Wing Extremism and Right-Wing Extremism Prevention, provided by the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung bpb (Federal Agency for Civic Education), offers. The continuously expanding resource is aimed at target groups such as schools, social work, civic education, public administration, and security forces. Thematic focuses address various aspects of right-wing extremism and present contact points for counseling and educational programmes.

Editorial work in all its facets

flmh is commissioned with the editorial management of the InfoPool. In collaboration with two right-wing extremism experts, thematic focuses and individual text contributions are planned, briefings are written, interviews are conducted, authors are commissioned, texts are edited, and, after approval by the authors, uploaded to the editorial system. A scientific advisory board, for which flmh has submitted proposals and which is continuously supported after its establishment, advises on technical and strategic questions and supports the further development of the InfoPool.

Advice on advertising and increasing user numbers

Close consultation with the bpb editorial team is ensured through weekly editorial meetings. The planning for the coming months is drawn up in closed meetings that take place several times a year. flmh is also responsible for promoting the Infopool and increasing the number of users.
