Ukraine is caught up in a grueling war with Russia – people are suffering not only physically, but also psychologically. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is already supporting Ukraine in its reconstruction – from social cohesion to the economy and energy supply to strengthening good governance. The goal is a peaceful, secure and economically successful future for Ukraine, Europe and Germany.
Open communication is the key
flmh developed a communication strategy for the BMZ that makes Germany’s support for the reconstruction of Ukraine visible and comprehensible. The strategy links the engagement with key issues such as security, responsibility, economic benefits and a common European future. flmh analysed target groups, developed a strong narrative and devised a set of consistent messages, channels and formats for cross-media communication – from storytelling to concrete measures.
