Educational Centre for Human Rights

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted in 1948. At the same time, systems such as apartheid in South Africa and “racial segregation” in the USA existed. Although human rights are still officially recognised in many countries today, global justice has not yet been achieved. EPIZ, the Entwicklungspolitische Bildungs- und Informationszentrum e. V. (Development Policy Education and Information Center), provides educational work in this area: the association develops learning materials and offers workshops and training courses on global justice and human rights – for educational professionals, pupils and political education speakers.

Development of a digital identity

In order to present its services effectively online, the EPIZ commissioned flmh to develop a new website. To this end, flmh and EPIZ developed a contemporary digital identity for the center. A barrier-free screen design was particularly important so that the website is accessible to as many people as possible.

New website for different target groups

Based on the new digital identity, flmh developed a low-barrier website that bundles content for different target groups on a central platform. An ordering system for learning materials and an infrastructure for multimedia learning content are also integrated.
